About

Dog Behaviourist Trainer

I don’t just love dogs, I’m passionate about improving their lives and those of our other companion animals.

As a certified dog behaviourist and trainer and pet food nutrition specialist, I created my TV show Pooches at Play, airing nationally on Channel 10, and Poochesatplay.com to help promote responsible pet ownership, pet-friendly lifestyles and provide dog training and behaviour advice to help people and their pets.

This was followed by The Pet Rescuers (Series 1) on Channel 9 in 2021, and the launch of my new TV show Animal SOS Australia on 7TWO in March 2023.

Animal Welfare Advocate Wildlife Conservationist

My animal welfare and conservation career began in my early 20’s with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), raising funds and developing public awareness campaigns to help save endangered species. During this time I became a regular guest presenter on Channel 10’s Cheez TV and Channel 7’s Saturday Disney.

Since then I have worked as a TV Presenter, Producer and Writer, publicist marketing consultant for organisations with a focus on animal welfare and conservation. This has included Keep Australia Beautiful, Planet Ark, The Orangutan Project, Wildlife Asia, the Jane Goodall Institute and more.

My debut conservation documentary, Ecochick Adventures: The Trans Borneo Challenge aired on Channel 9 in August 2015 and documented my 25-day, 2000km trek through Indonesia Borneo.  I wanted to raise awareness of the plight of the Orangutan and decimation of their forest homes through the prolific use of palm oil in many of the products readily available on our supermarket shelves.

This was followed soon after with Pooches at Play, and The Pet Rescuers (Series 1) TV shows, to help raise awareness of the animal welfare issues that need addressing in our own backyards!

Events

Presenting and MC’ing at events is also a passion of mine, sharing knowledge and inspiration to improve the lives of people and their pets. I enjoy working as a Speaker at many corporate, community and industry events throughout the year, including the Dog Lovers Show, the Cat Lovers Show, pet expos, seminars and corporate workshops with my cheeky side-kick ‘Dynamite Darcy’ by my side.

Brand Ambassador

I am honoured to have been the media spokesperson and Ambassador environmental organisations including WWF, Planet Ark, Keep Australia Beautiful, The Orangutan Project and Wildlife Asia.

I am currently the Ambassador for Second Chance Animal Rescue, the Companion Animal Network Australia, and the MacKillop Family Services Paw Pals Program.

I also work as a Brand Ambassador with like-minded companies dedicated to improving the lives of people and pets.
