In her early twenties, and well before green became mainstream, Lara decided she was going to try and “save the world”. A month later she had joined the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Sydney.

Determined to show people how easy it is to be ‘Green in the City,’ Lara has campaigned on behalf of many other environmental causes in Australia and the UK for over thirteen years since. From food to fashion, and everything in between, Lara is a down to earth and inspiring advocate for being green.

As an experienced television presenter and media spokeswoman, Lara tackles the big environmental issues in a way that everybody can relate to. As an event emcee, her warm and engaging approach to “saving the world” helps keep audiences involved.

Lara’s work helps educate and empower children on how to care for the environment from an early age. Lara is also working on her first children’s environmental adventure story to assist with educating children about the environment in a fun and interactive way.
